Blanton's Original
The first bourbon to be bottled cask by cask (single barrel) in 1984, The Original revolutionised and restored the reputation of American whiskey. Bottled from a single cask each time, each version is unique. At 46.5%, Blanton's Original is the flagship of the range. Style: Vanilla, sweet and rich. Nose: Citrus fruits, heady flowers, toffee. Palate: Vanilla, cinnamon, cloves. Finish: Long, spicy and ripe fruit.
Blanton's Gold
Amber in colour with golden highlights, the finely wooded nose, marked by dried fruit, evokes spices (cinnamon) and heady flowers (honeysuckle). The lively, elegant and racy palate evolves on fruits (plum) and spices (clove). The long finish develops on notes of vanilla, pecan and burnt wood. Blanton's Straight From the Barrel
This Straight From the Barrel version is an authentic whiskey, bottled without reduction or chill filtration. It is tart, with notes of honey, candied fruit and nutmeg. Blanton's straight bourbon is defined as a premium American whiskey. The very first brand to do cask-by-cask bottlings, each batch is produced at the famous Buffalo Trace distillery.
Blanton's Single Cask #329
The colour palette of this release is inspiring and paints a chiaroscuro picture of Blanton's, with the brightest yellows and reds alongside the most intense amber and jet blacks. Aromatically and flavour-wise, notes of mimosa, corn, currant, raspberry, lavender, chlorophyll, cypress, cocoa, dark chocolate and zan perfectly enhance the beauty of this colour gradient.
An edition that unfortunately will not be available to everyone due to its limited number of bottles worldwide.
